Make sure surfaces are clean, dry and free of peeling paint. Use a base coat of Valspar paint. Allow 24 hours before applying glazes.
1. Apply the base coat. 2. Apply Metal Glaze or Porcelain Crackle Glaze as outlined in the Valspar® Signature Colors® Faux How-to Guide. Allow to dry thoroughly. 3. Apply Antiquing Glaze using a clean, slightly damp, cotton rag. Apply to small areas in a circular motion, gently blending them together.
Workable for up to 15 minutes. Mix with Clear Mixing Glaze for longer open time. Avoid drafts from fans, open windows, etc. to prevent premature drying. Wait 24 hours between coats.
