Valspar® Signature Colors® Faux Mixing Glaze is a slow-drying, clear satin liquid designed for use with latex base paints and Color Glazes to create beautiful decorative finishes. Mix with latex base paints to increase project working time and transparency. Mix with Color Glaze to increase glaze transparency. Use with the following techniques: Color Washing, Stippling, Rag Rolling, Sponging and Dragging.
Mix well with Valspar® Signature Colors® Base Coat or Glazes according to instructions. Tip: Practice your technique beforehand on a sample board.

Make sure surfaces are clean, dry and free of peeling paint. Use a primer on new wallboard.
For use with base coat or latex base paints: Mix 4-8 parts Mixing Glaze with 1 part paint. For increased transparency and working time, add more Mixing Glaze. For use with Color Glazes, add Mixing Glaze to Color Glaze until desired transparency and working time are achieved.
Note: Mixing Glaze is milky when wet, but dries to a clear finish. Colors will appear lighter when wet, but will dry darker. Use a dry color sample when matching color.
WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN.
