Textured Lime Wash adds just a hint of texture to faux finishing for dramatic new effects. The unique formula lets you create beautifully textured finishes while highlighting the base coat color. Use with the following techniques: Sponging, Color Washing, and Fresco.

Coverage

One quart covers approximately 125 sq. ft. (11.6 m²) depending upon surface porosity.

Where to Use

Use on clean walls, ceilings, furniture, cabinets and trim. Use above or below a chair rail for dramatic designer effects.

Preparing the Surface

Make sure surfaces are clean, dry and sound. Use a primer on new wallboard. Apply a base coat of Valspar paint in your choice of color. Allow base coat to dry 4 hours or overnight before applying Textured Lime Wash.

Application

1. Apply the base coat according to label instructions.<br/>2. Apply Textured Lime Wash as outlined in the Valspar® Signature Colors® Faux How-to Guide.

Working Time

Lime Wash stays workable for up to 5 minutes. Avoid drafts from fans, open windows, etc. to prevent premature drying. Surface and air temperatures should be between 55-75°F.
