PrepSurfaces must be clean, dry and dull prior to application. Thoroughly clean the surface and allow to dry. Remove wallpaper and loose, peeling paint. Scrape and sand peeled or damaged paint. Sand glossy surfaces dull. All dust should be removed. Drywall: Fill cracks and holes with joint compound and sand smooth. Plaster: New surfaces must cure at least 30 days. Fill rough surfaces if desired. Wood: Sand to a fresh surface. Patch imperfections with wood filler. Heavily stained areas, including tannin stains on wood, may require an appropriate stain-blocking primer.
