Valspar® 4000™ Interior Paint
This is a commercial grade interior paint with good hide & coverage and great touch-up. It creates a durable film with a smooth, uniform finish that hides imperfections. Ideal for commercial environments, residential re-paint and new home construction; this paint is formulated for spray, brush and roll application on properly prepared interior walls and ceilings.

HOW TO USE

UsageProperly prepared interior walls and ceilings including previously painted and primed plaster, wood, brick, drywall, cement and metal.

PrepThoroughly clean the surface and allow to dry. Remove all wax, grease, dirt, chalk, mildew, loose and peeling paint and other foreign matter. Remove gloss from shiny surfaces. Repair all cracks and nail holes with patching compound. Painting over wallpaper is not recommended. New or bare surfaces should be primed with an appropriate Valspar® primer.

ApplicationStir paint thoroughly. Intermix containers to ensure uniform color. Apply with a premiumquality roller, premium-quality synthetic brush or airless sprayer. Paint the ceiling first, then the walls. If applying by roller, roll from dry area into wet area using firm, crisscross strokes. Finish with long, even strokes in one direction. Note: Some deep or bright colors may require an additional coat to obtain complete hide. Surface conditions and application technique can also impact coverage.
