Valspar® Professional Bonding Primer
This primer is a high quality latex primer designed for the professional painter. This low odor/low VOC primer has excellent adhesion over glossy surfaces, drywall, cured plaster, masonry, wood, galvanized metal and aluminum. In addition, it blocks stains from tannin bleed, knots, water damage, crayons and grease. Sandable, it makes it a great enamel undercoater.
HOW TO USE

UsageFor interior or exterior use. Apply to drywall, plaster, new or old masonry, bare wood, wood paneling, galvanized metal and aluminum, tile and glass, and new or weathered paint.

PrepSurface should be clean, dry and dull. Glossy surfaces should be dulled. Thoroughly clean the surface and remove all dirt, dust, chalk, rust, grease, wax, mildew and peeling paint and allow to dry. See technical data page for additional surface prep.

ApplicationStir thoroughly. Intermix containers to ensure uniform color. Apply with a premium-quality roller, polyester brush or airless sprayer. If applying by spray, back-roll or back-brush to work product into the surface. Apply a liberal coat of product uniformly, working well into the surface.
